Denver Police purchase MyClyns first response protection spray in advance of the Democratic National Convention

Denver Police Department supplies officers with 1,000 units to provide additional protection against possible pathogenic exposures as large crowds are expected to gather in Denver.

Denver, CO. (August 27, 2008) – Union Springs Pharmaceuticals, LLC, announced today that the Denver Police Department has ordered 1,000 MyClyns units in anticipation of the gathering of tens of thousands of people during the Democratic National Convention being held August 25th through the 28th.

MyClyns contains a fast-acting solution with germ-killing action that can be safely sprayed directly into eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and open wounds. MyClyns is currently being used throughout the U.S. by personnel in emergency medical, police, fire, corrections, military, healthcare, and homeland security. With its convenient pen-like design, MyClyns is a valuable tool that enables first responders to protect themselves immediately after exposure to potentially harmful pathogens. These pathogens are often contained in bodily fluids such as blood or saliva.

"We are pleased that MyClyns will be used to assist the Denver Police Department and their officers,” said Joel Ivers, President of Union Springs Pharmaceuticals. “As the only personal protection spray that can be used directly in the eyes, nose, and mouth, we are proud that MyClyns can play a part in keeping officers safe."
